Maureen Van Wormer-Westburg began creating the breed in the late 1980's right here in the usa. she was nicknamed Micky and this is where the Mi-Ki originated from. Micky began with the purebred Papillion, Japanese Chin, and Maltese. She purposely bred for a non-shedding, hypo-allergenic coat. They are calm yet playful with cat like mannerisms, gentle, social, outgoing, and extrememly loving to people as well as other animals. The Mi-ki will average about 5-8 pounds as adults.
One girl and Two boys...all healthy and very active.

Our big boy. This is at 1 week old.
Even though he is just a tiny fellow at just 5 oz. , "He started out at 4.6 oz."
He is still the largest puppy of the three. He has the most white on him.
